About

I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles and currently practice (License # 76720) under the supervision of Dr. Don Goodman, PhD (License # 22613). I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Dartmouth College.

Over 2000 hours of my internship was completed at The Antioch University Counseling Center, where, as a therapist, I treated both individuals and couples whose issues covered just about everything in the broad spectrum we think of as “the human condition.”

I also specialize working with creative people, having spent the past 30 years in the creative arts as a staff songwriter with EMI and Warner-Chappell music ( “Tell it to My Heart” for Taylor Dayne, “Love is a Beautiful Thing” for Al Green); author of 3 books with Random House (“Baseball Letters”) and as a director of documentary films (“The Last Giant,” “Beatles Stories”).

I truly understand all aspects of the creative process and have helped professionals as well as those who suspect they’re creative but haven’t yet fully explored this aspect of their potential.
